Fully automated production line for the production of vermiculite boards.
The Boards plant is specifically designed for simple operation and use. The plant can process approximately 2 tons of waste material per hour into 1220mm x 2440mm x 10-50 mm thickness boards. The Industrial systems are able to produce up to 20 Tones per hour. The Board comprises 97% waste fibrous material and 3% bonding agent.
There are no toxicity problems with the process, although it is necessary to duct the heat/steam fumes from the working press into the atmosphere so as to maintain a good working environment.
The board is generally produced in densities up to 700 Kg per cubic meter and from 4mm to 30 mm thick. However, thicker boards up to 50 mm can be produced. The board produced has excellent physical properties with impact and tensile strengths comparable to particleboard.
Remarks:
To reach the 2 tons/h capacity the bord size must be considered as 1220 x 2440mm. After production the bords can be cut in required sizes. If you want to produce the boards with the sizes of 1200x600 mm then the production capacity of line decreased 50%. Sure the machinery cost decreased too:
